How is Ever since CGM implanted?
Inserting the sensor is super easy. It’s like putting on a small bandage. You can usually put it on your stomach, arm, or thigh. I chose the arm and my doctor never really offered any alternative, which is fine for me. Once it’s in, you can forget about it. The sensor will wirelessly send your blood sugar readings to your phone or a special receiver.
With Ever since CGM, you can see your blood sugar levels in real-time. This helps you adjust your insulin or make changes to your diet if needed. Plus, it can alert you if your blood sugar gets too high or too low.
Keeping your blood sugar in check is essential for managing diabetes. High blood sugar can lead to serious health problems, including heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, and nerve damage. On the other hand, low blood sugar can cause dizziness, confusion, and even seizures.
